Extra-label use drugs must:
1. Bear the authorizing veterinarian's name and address.
2. Specify the active ingredient(s) of the drug.
3. Contain directions for use – to include dosage, route of administration and
duration of therapy.
4. Specify meat and milk withholding times, even if zero.
5. Include necessary cautionary statements.
