Take Survey to Assess Food Defense Needs

CLICK HERE to take this survey if you are a food processing professional.

WIFSS is requesting input from California’s specialty crop food processing industry to determine how best to meet the training needs to help companies prepare to meet International Adulteration Rule requirements contained in the Food Safety Modernization Act.

This training program is designed to help California’s specialty crop food processing industry comply with new FSMA regulations which will require regulated food processing plants to create a food defense plan.  By taking 5-10 minutes  you will play an important role in helping WIFSS develop training that will help companies develop their own food defense plans including how to assess vulnerabilities and develop mitigation measures to protect their products from intentional adulteration.

The survey results will help WIFSS develop a model for food defense plans for small to large processing companies with diverse processing systems representing specialty crop sectors such as tree fruit, plant vegetables, tree nuts, froze food, canners, and juice manufactures.

Thanks for your help!
